Eye Love You *

Using found packing cardboard, I discovered its ribbed surface to be perfect for experimenting with optics and images. The ribbing allows for the creation of multiple perspectives within a single surface, transforming the way the image is perceived. To this, I added a felt frame—an alien, contrasting element—that disrupts the visual language of the cardboard, introducing tension between the organic and the synthetic. The frame becomes more than a container for the piece but part of the work by becoming an sculptural piece. This interplay between texture and material expands the dialogue between the familiar and the unexpected.
